Description

The Enbio S is a compact Class B steam autoclave with three programs: FAST (7 minutes, unwrapped tools), 134 °C (about 15 minutes, wrapped and dried) and 121 °C (30 minutes, for heat-sensitive tools).

Standby mode keeps it ready between cycles, user ID records who ran each cycle, and an automatic self-test checks it for you.

User ID asks for a PIN, so each cycle report shows who ran the load and who approved it. Standby mode rests it on low power between clients, and auto-test runs the morning test cycles on a timer. Reports are saved to a USB stick and the My.Enbio app.

Inside, the Pro is about as long and wide as the S but twice as tall: 9 cm (3.5 in) instead of 4.5 cm (1.8 in). Pack one client's tools per pouch and one Pro load covers 16 clients; the S would need two cycles.

Worth knowing: the Pro's fast cycle takes 9 minutes instead of 7, and it is about 4 cm (1.7 in) taller, 5 kg (11 lb) heavier and louder (49 dB against 38 dB).

Questions, answered

Which tools can go in it?

Any tool that tolerates steam sterilization: at 134 °C for most metal tools, or at 121 °C for heat-sensitive ones.

Do I need a plumber?

No. It plugs into a wall outlet and takes its water from a bottle or the Magic Filter.

Enbio S or Beauty Edition?

The same chamber and speed, and both save every cycle report to a USB stick. Choose the S if several people run the autoclave or you want the fullest records: user ID puts a name on every report. It also adds standby mode, scheduled auto-tests and a 121 °C program. Choose the Beauty Edition for its champagne and gold finish.

Enbio S or Enbio Pro?

The Pro's chamber is twice as tall and takes 16 pouches a load instead of 8. Choose it if you sterilize more than 8 pouches at a time. The S is smaller, quieter (38 dB against 49 dB) and 2 minutes quicker on the fast cycle.
